Volunteers play a meaningful role in bringing comfort, kindness, and joy to every guest who walks through the doors. Spanish & Portuguese Synagogue Setup & Event Preparation Setting up tables and chairs Decorating with Chanukah-themed items Preparing serving stations Creating a warm atmosphere where guests feel at home Shift 2: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PMGreeting, Hospitality & Serving Greeting guests with warmth and kindness Assisting with seating Serving delicious kosher Chanukah foods (latkes, sufganiyot, etc.) Offering support, care, and conversation throughout the event Helping with brief, light cleanup at the end This opportunity is perfect for volunteers who:Enjoy helping others feel welcome Want to bring joy to people during the holidays Appreciate hands-on, meaningful community service Can bring warmth, patience, and kindness to their interactions Individuals, families, students, and corporate groups are all welcome.
