Who We Are

Chesed, or love and kindness, drives all of Mada’s actions—it is reciprocal, pure and embracing of humanity on every level, and is reflected in our seven values.

What We Do

Powered by unconditional kindness and the belief that we are all family, Mada Centre supports Montrealers in need through the provision of free, nutritious, kosher food and related supports in a dignified manner.

The Packing Room at Mada Community Center is a dedicated team of volunteers committed to making a positive impact in our community. We are passionate about supporting underprivileged individuals and families by ensuring they have access to nutritious meals. Our diverse group comes together with a common goal: to alleviate hunger and provide essential resources to those in need.

At the Packing Room, we carefully prepare and pack meals that are delivered to recipients in our community. Each meal is thoughtfully assembled to ensure it meets nutritional standards and dietary needs. Our volunteers work diligently to ensure that every package is prepared with care and compassion, bringing hope and sustenance to those who need it most. Through our efforts, we strive to make a tangible difference in the lives of our neighbors.
